Kayden turned 6-months-old in mid November, at which time we took him in for his big operation - to get fixed, and to have a microchip put in. He did remarkably well - it seemed that the experience didn't even phase him. He didn't lose any energy, or show any fear, and his personality hasn't changed. He's as healthy as ever, and just as much a trouble-maker and love-bug as always.
His favourite thing in life right now are those realistic-looking toy mice with real fur (rabbit fur, I think). He obsesses over them, and has even learned the words "Kayden, where's your mouse?" When we say that, he goes running into rooms looking for his "friend" (as Sig puts it). The other day, right when I got home from work, I had to go back out in a rain storm just to buy a toy mouse for him because he couldn't focus on anything else until he had it. (He's destroyed the first three, after all.) But whatever baby wants, baby gets.

He's quite a handsome little devil. His markings came in beautifully, as we knew they would. His health is great, and he eats well - not a lot, but regularly at least. He had a wonderful treat of turkey at Thanksgiving, and has continued to ask us for it regularly! It's amazing to see his true animal instincts come out when there's meat around.

The friends we had at the house on Thanksgiving loved meeting Kayden, and he was incredibly friendly with everyone, as he always is with humans. He never shows a bit of shyness. He's the purrrfect host. :)
